Tonight we see the return of Adonis "Superman" Stevenson in Quebec City against Sukhotsky....
The fight we really want to see is Stevenson vs Kovalev - but with Kovalev's domination against BHop, I think Adonis will duck da Krusher even more!!
Adonis was so red-hot last year - he fought often, KO'd everyone and KO'd Chad Dawson in like 70 secs....but look at him now...
Hopefully he has a strong dominant showing tonight and lines up some good fights next year!

This Saturday we see a pretty interesting heavyweight tilt!!
Stiverne vs Wilder!!!
Wilder has power but is quite raw whereas Stiverne is the first Haitian borne heavyweight who crushed Arreola (twice!)....
I expect Stiverne to KO Wilder......I don't think Wilder is refined enough or experienced enough to box and battle Stiverne (let alone KO....)

Pacman has agreed to terms to fight Mayweather....
http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/12 ... mayweather
Terms include:
- Pacman takes 40% of revenue, Mayweather takes 60%
- date is May 2 (Cinco De Mayo) - date Mayweather wants to fight on
- fighters can choose their own 8 oz gloves
- Pacman agrees to drug testing (USADA testing)
The ball is in Mayweather's court - this might really happen!!!!

Feeling Wilder will take it tonight. Feeling this will last longer than most expect with Wilder using more his reach advantage.

wow - was I off the mark or what (and you were spot on!)...
Wilder showed the world that he has the chin, power, boxing skills and the stamina to go 12 rounds with most heavyweights....
I honestly thought Stiverne would have a better showing but Stiverne seemed content to try and load up the counter shots (Wilder took them well even when Stiverne did connect)....
Wilder used his jab well and his length and his crunching right hand when needed - Wilder rocked Stiverne a few times in the bout....
I don't think Wilder is ready for Wlad just yet but it would be nice to see Wlad and Wilder down the road!!!

Just watched an excellent interview Charlie Rose recently did Manny Pacquiao. He also showed a clip of his documentary coming to theatres this month.
Here are links to the interview and movie.

Loved hearing Manny talk about Bruce Lee. Awesome!

mike Alvarado and Brandon rios 3 this weekend!!!
Trilogy with each fighter only knowing 1 way to fight....move forward and blast!!!
Should be a fun fight - I expect Alvarado to copy fight #2 and brawl and box enough to try and decision....which he probably will...

This weekend we see the return of GGG!!!
GGG vs Murray - this won't be a cake walk for GGG.
Murray is probably GGG's stiffest test yet!
I think this will go the distance but in the end GGG by UD!
Also, Money vs Pacman! May 2nd!!! Should be an amazing fight but I have Money winning by UD!
Can't wait!

We are almost there. Can Pascal still box like he did against Dawson? How much local fans (Judges?) will be a factor? Has been a while since he faced true opposition - BHop almost 4 years ago (sorry Bute - you were not much of a challenge). Kovalev on the other hand is on a roll after a flawless performance against Hopkins. Krusher by unanimous or split decision.
Looking forward to this one!

Good call on that late round KO result. Would have liked this great fight going on but the ref made the right call. Pascal showed once again his heart but ultimately was was outclassed and looked hopeless. Rematch in 2-3 years maybe?
Stevenson vs Kovalev would be epic for sure.

Pascal put forth a valiant effort but he was ultimately out-powered and out-boxed by Da Krusher.....
Gotta give Pascal credit - he didn't go into survival mode and didn't stop swinging for the fences - which made for an entertaining bout...
In the end, the stoppage was the right one - Pascal looked out on his feet from those right hands...
Rematch down the road would be nice but definitely want to see Stevenson vs. Kovalev - in Montreal would be huge!

Two locally managed boys in action this weekend - Stevenson and Beterbiev. Ticket sales are disappointing but this will be a great exposition opportunity nevertheless as both will be broadcasted nationally on CBS in US. Program starts at 3:30pm!
Expecting KO wins for both.

man.....the fight of the decade is almost upon us!!!
MAYWEATHER VS PACQUIAO - it is really happening!!!
Predictions?
I bet it will be controversial in nature - paving the way for a rematch at least and possibly a trilogy?
Mayweather will win this one by majority decision and the world will clamor for a rematch....which they will do it up as it is too lucrative to pass up!
